How my 6 years old daughter started cooking. Cooked her first chicken adobo on her own. Life with ZG l Homeschooling PH

If you've been following us for a while now, you've probably known that characteristics and life skills are more important for me than academics.

Today, I want to share this video of my daughter cooking her very first chicken adobo on her own at 6 years old. She just turned 6 last June. But first, let me share the timeline of how she started cooking.

How my 6 years old daughter started cooking.

At the age of two years old, she observes and helps me in the kitchen when I am cooking or baking.

Then she started cooking at the age of 3 years old. When I say cooking, it means frying to be exact. haha, She can fry eggs, hotdogs, and nuggets at 3 years old. I myself am in awe at how 3 years old can do that.

By 4 years old, she became my assistant and taste tester. Haha, She's the one tasting the dishes and evaluate if we still need to add something or if it's too much already. Wow, I am really amazed. She's indeed a budding chef!

At 5 years old, she's into baking more than cooking. And today, at 6 years old, she cooked her very first chicken adobo!

To be honest I don't know how to cook not until I entered college and lived in a dorm. haha, life skills are very important y'all so start them young!

Real-life kitchen set for kids.

Last month, I saw this kitchen set somewhere on Facebook but I am unsure if I should get one for Zoe since the cons and pros are 50-50. But eventually ordered a purple set for Zoe since we already finished the 1st quarter topics so this served as a reward for her. Though I still can't give a detailed review of this Real cooking set for kids. Because we just got it last Monday and we need to test it out for another week. So be sure to pin this post and watch out for our review. For now, you can check the unboxing video or you may shop this item here. *NOT SPONSORED*

Oh, just so you know. Zoe is used to handling a real knife since she's really involved in the kitchen at a young age. But if your child is not used to the kitchen please be extra careful and supervise your child at all times when using this set.

Watch how a 6-year-old cooked her very first chicken adobo on her own.

She only asked for help in cutting the onions and garlic then she did everything on her own. She's really not a baby anymore!

From luto-lutuan using plastic toys during my childhood to modern real-life kitchen sets. hahaha, The whole family loved her adobo. It tastes really good just like my adobo. I wonder what's her next dish! I'm really excited to share this new series of Cook with Zoe with all of you! I hope to see you all next time.

If you find this post helpful and inspiring, please don't forget to share this with your family and friends! Stay healthy and safe! Oh and please get vaccinated if you have a chance.
