As you all know, Zoe started holding crayons at 8 months old. Since then, she doodles non-stop up until now. She got an amazing writing grip and can write her full name at 3 years old on her own.

But more than the skills and lots of fine motor activities that we had. I guess one factor that helped her with her writing grip is by using the TRIO Mongol pencil. It's the only pencil she used from 1 year to 2 years old until she gets used to writing. But wait. I'm not encouraging you to "force" your young kids to write. Only introduce when they are interested. Okay? As every child is different.

VERDICT: YAY OR NAY?

As you all know, I only do an honest review. The only downside for me is the lack of packaging. I had 2 broken crayons. Another issue I had is that I had 1 missing crayon. I honestly didn't notice that not until Zoe asked for a red crayon because she'll be using it to color the heart. Haha, Worry not because it's only minor issues that can easily be resolved. But for the product itself, I have no issues with it so, I highly recommend adding this to your cart now!

Also, this can be a perfect gift for children and a must-have item for toddlers and preschoolers. Let's raise creative children!
