1. I get all the love and a strong connection with my daughter.

All the hugs, kisses, laughs, I love you’s are all mine. And every single time someone will compliment my daughter Zoe on how she’s being polite, smart, sweet or kind. I can always pat my back because I know I’m doing well at raising her even if I'm alone. Raising her alone is one of my best decision in life. Choosing this solo parenthood is all worth it.

She’s my life and I can’t imagine without having her 24/7. I don’t mind having her around me all the time, everywhere I go. She’s my light and the one who inspires me and keeps me going.

 2. No drama!

I just hate pity parties and negativity in my life. Honestly, I've been through a lot and it feels so good to have less drama. Happiness will always be our choice. And every day I chose to be happy in my own little ways. Self-love is my priority. It is important to me because I know I deserve better and I know my worth.

 3. Zoe is growing up independent.

Sharing a glimpse of our day. She helps me with everything. So I taught her lifeskills as young as 1 year old. At 1 year old she already knows how to pack away her toys, can dress up on her own and put her shoes on. At 2 years old, she helps me with the laundry, sweeping the floor, cooking, baking and folding her clothes. Now that she's 3 she helps me with the dishes already. She knows how to be self-sufficient at a young age. And I'm so proud of her. If you want to teach life skills to your kids, read this article.

 4. To Inspire and Empower Fellow Solo Parents.

I want the world to know that we, women can do absolutely everything and we don’t need a man. I am raising my child alone, working hard on my own and taking care of everything. Every day, I grow and learn with Zoe. I am always trying my best to be an amazing role model for Zoe. That's why by sharing our journey. I am hoping to inspire and reach out to my fellow solo parent. I want to be the voice of my fellow single moms especially here in the Philippines.  I want to help you embrace your journey to singlehood with a happy heart.

5. I am in control of all the decisions.

My child, my rules. I can raise Zoe exactly the way I want. I don't need anyone's approval. Isn't that amazing? I am totally in control of whatever parenting style suits our lifestyle.

Yes, there are lots of successful co-parenting stories but know that it is not for everyone. And I don't see myself co-parenting for now or even for the next 5-10 years. If you're wondering why? It's because Zoe and I are complete. We are happy even if it's just the two of us. We complete each other. And when the right time comes, maybe it'll work out for us too. But now I'm enjoying every moment with my baby.
